Shero International Limited
About Shero

Building the Home Commerce economy — from India, for the world.

Shero exists to organise the extraordinary capability inside homes into a modern, technology-enabled economy. What began in India is being designed for households around the world.

Who we are

A company defining a category.

Shero is not a food company, a marketplace, or a delivery service. Shero is building Home Commerce — a new global category in which households become places of enterprise, and everyday capability becomes meaningful economic participation.

Between the modern consumer and the modern household sits missing infrastructure: technology, standards, access, and trust. Shero exists to build that infrastructure — quietly, patiently, and at institutional quality — so that participation is open to anyone with capability.

The Shero journey

A story of disciplined compounding.

A phased build rather than a headline chase. Each stage funded the next, and each capability was proven before it was scaled.

    Future

    Home Commerce

Home Commerce is a new global category — the organised economy of goods, services, care, learning and craft produced inside the home. Shero is building the infrastructure that turns everyday household capability into dependable livelihoods, branded products and trusted services at scale.

A category, not a marketplace. Home Commerce reorganises what has always existed inside households into a discoverable, standard-bearing, income-generating economy — with the homemaker at the centre.

    What it is
The formal economy of home-produced goods and home-delivered services — food, crafts, tailoring, teaching, wellness, beauty, care and household services — brought to market with brand, standards and technology.
    Who it belongs to
Homemakers and home-based producers. Home Commerce is designed so that the person who creates the value earns the majority of it, without leaving the home.
    What Shero builds
The operating system beneath it — onboarding, quality, packaging, discovery, fulfilment, payments, partner support and AI decisioning — so a household enterprise runs with the reliability of an organised business.
    Why it matters
It converts the world's largest untapped workforce into measurable economic participation, and turns invisible domestic capability into dignified, compounding income for families.
Leadership

The people building Shero.

Shero is led by founders who see this not as a company to be scaled, but as an institution to be built — one that outlasts its founders, its markets, and its era.

Mr. Thilagarasu Venkatasamy
Founder
Mr. Thilagarasu Venkatasamy
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Thilagarasu Venkatasamy founded Shero with the belief that one of the world's largest economic systems has always existed in plain sight — the household. While technology transformed offices, factories, and retail, millions of skilled homemakers remained outside organized commerce. Shero was built to change that.

Under his leadership, Shero has grown from a single home-food initiative into the foundation of a broader Home Commerce platform, combining technology, operational discipline, and community to create structured economic participation for households.

His leadership philosophy is rooted in long-term institution building rather than short-term growth. Every stage of Shero's journey has focused on proving operating models, strengthening systems, and compounding capability before scaling.

Today, he leads Shero's vision of building the infrastructure that enables households across the world to participate in organized commerce with dignity, trust, and technology.

Leadership philosophy
"Institutions are built slowly, with capital discipline and unwavering respect for the people they serve."
Vision

To build a global institution that turns the household into a recognised unit of the modern economy.

Ms. Jayashree
Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer

Jayashree co-founded Shero with a deep understanding that technology succeeds only when it simplifies participation. Her work has focused on designing experiences that make organized commerce accessible to everyday households, regardless of technical familiarity.

She has played a central role in shaping Shero's products, partner experience, and operational workflows, ensuring that technology remains practical, intuitive, and deeply aligned with the realities of home-based entrepreneurship.

Her approach combines product thinking with empathy, helping translate complex operational systems into experiences that are simple enough for millions of households to adopt with confidence.

As Shero expands internationally, she continues to lead the evolution of the platform into a scalable Home Commerce operating system designed for diverse communities and markets.

Leadership philosophy
"A great platform respects the operator as much as the customer. Both hands have to be held."
Vision

To design a product experience so simple, and so dignified, that participation is available to anyone with capability.

Together, the founders are building the operating infrastructure for the Home Commerce economy — a long-term platform designed to unlock productive household capability at global scale.

Our principles

What we believe never changes.

Markets change, technologies change, categories evolve. A small number of convictions do not.

Institution over hype

We are building an organisation designed to be trusted across decades — not one measured by a single quarter.

Respect for the operator

Every household on the platform is a partner, not a vendor. Everything we build is designed around them.

Return the capital

A quiet, permanent duty to the investors who back us — measured against the long game.

Transparency over dream-selling

We describe what is real, not what sounds good. Investors, operators, and customers deserve the same view.

Discipline sustains growth

Growth without discipline is fragile. We prefer slower compounding to fast unwinding.

Merit and accountability

Contribution is recognised. Responsibility is expected. Neither is negotiable.
